What is pole fitness/dance?
Pole fitness/dance is a form of performance art and fitness that involves dancing and performing acrobatic moves on a vertical pole. It requires strength, flexibility, and endurance.

Is pole dancing only for women?
Nope! Pole is for everyone. Men and women of all ages and fitness levels can enjoy and benefit from it!

Do I need prior dance experience or strength training to join a class?
Not at all actually! You don't need any previous experience and you don't have to be strong or flexible to begin pole. You might be surprised to hear that most people who start have no previous dance experience. Classes are accessible for all fitness levels & all body shapes and sizes!

What should I wear to a pole class?
Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move freely. Shorts, tank tops, sports bra, bathing suit sets, or anything in the pole wear genre are recommended to help grip the pole, but wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in!

Will pole fitness/dance make me stronger?
Absolutely! Pole is a great workout that builds strength, especially in the upper body, core, and legs

Can I attend pole classes if I have an injury or medical condition?
Please consult with your doctor before attending classes if you have any injuries or medical conditions. Let your instructor know of any limitations you may have, and they will offer modifications and alternative moves as needed.

How often should I attend pole classes?
We recommend attending classes 1-3 times a week to see improvements and progress in your pole dancing skills and fitness.

Can I just show up or should I book in advance?
Definitely book your class in advance online. If you were to just show up expecting to take the class without a reservation, we wouldn’t be able to guarantee you a spot in the class.

•You must be 18+ to attend classes
•Please do not put lotion on before class. You will slide off the pole!
•Please leave jewelry at home, you will be asked to take off rings and bracelets in class
•When you arrive, please take shoes off and place in the shelves. This is a “no outside shoes” zone and we are primarily barefoot in the studio :)
•We have a parking lot on the corner of Center Street and Moran, or you may park at your discretion in the Wild Orchid parking lot across the street, or any public parking on Virginia Street.
•Don’t be late! We recommend you arrive 15 mins early before your class starts.
•5 min late policy: If you arrive 5 minutes or later after the start of your class time you will not be admitted to class, and you will not be able to use your class credit in the future. This is a safety issue, and we ask that you respect both our instructors and other students by showing up on time.
•24 hour cancellation policy: If you cancel at least 24 hours before class starts you will still keep your class credit. If you cancel within the 24 hours before class, you lose your class credit and will be charged.
•No show policy: If you do not show up to a class you signed up for and you will lose your class credit.
•Refund policy: All class packages are non-refundable. Once you purchase your classes, make sure you know the expiration date and use all classes before that date.
•Yes, we have a communal bathroom!
•Yes, we have single stall non gendered changing room!
